POS Kiosk

The kiosk interface provides a fast, touch-friendly way to process orders at vendor locations.

Accessing the Kiosk

Navigate to /kiosk to access the kiosk interface. This is typically displayed on tablets at vendor counters.

Product Grid

The main area displays products organized by category:

• Tap a category tab to filter products
• Products show name, price, and image
• Tap a product to add it to the cart
• Long-press for product details or modifiers

Cart

The cart sidebar shows:

• Items in the current order
• Quantity controls (+/-)
• Remove button
• Running total

Pricing Mode

Toggle between payment methods:

• Tokens - Pay with loaded card balance
• Card - Pay with credit/debit card (Adyen)

The displayed prices update based on the selected payment method.

Processing a Sale

1. Add items to the cart
2. Verify the order with the customer
3. Select payment method
4. Tap or scan the customer's card/wristband
5. Confirm the transaction

Modifiers

For products with options (size, toppings, etc.):

1. Tap the product to open the modifier dialog
2. Select required options
3. Add optional extras
4. Confirm to add to cart

Discounts

Apply discounts by:

1. Tapping the discount icon
2. Entering a discount code
3. Or selecting a preset discount

Refunds

To process a refund:

1. Find the original order in Order History
2. Select items to refund
3. Confirm the refund amount
4. Process the return
